What do you guys think will be revealed at E3 regarding halo? What are you hoping for?Here is what I’m assuming we will see:
High chance:
-Lots of Halo Wars 2 information (gameplay, trailers, news, etc)
-information regarding the WZFF update (maybe full Req reveal, new maps announced)
Decent chance:
-H3A revealed
-other spinoff for 2017 release announcement (maybe something like Halo 5: ODST or Halo 5: Sangheili)
-more information on the halo television series
Slim chance:
-halo 6 info/teaser
-addition halo 5 DLC announcement

Actually, I feel like there is an extremely solid chance on hearing about either a 2017 halo spinoff, the TV series, or something with Halo 6. If you look at Bravo’s last Community Update which is linked here, he writes:

Seeing this, it has to be something that they haven’t told us anything about quite yet or have kept us in the dark about. That narrows it to the three that I listed.
As for Halo 5 DLC, they did state that “all DLC for Halo 5 will be free,” so that more than likely won’t be a thing.
For H3A, probably not since the graphics are fine and it doesn’t necessarily need an upgrade. To me it would just seem like another product that isn’t really necessary (Don’t quote me on this, but I believe there are community members that also share my belief for a H3A). Maybe give it another 5-10 years and then Halo 3 would deserve that nice “remastered” polish.
These are just my ideas for E3, but all we can do is wait and see!
I heard about an AR/VR Halo experience last E3 for the HoloLens, maybe we’ll hear something about a Halo VR. It’s pretty cool to think about, maybe a HoloLens compatible forge or something.

I would’ve said that the quote from them pointed towards something game related, halo wars 2 we know is happening, can’t see halo 3A being necessary and I don’t think they’re ready for players to split and half play one game, half play the other. I think If it was the tv series they wouldn’t wait for e3, as its games and hardware they like to focus on. They’d give it a private announcement.
This leaves us with either another spin off or halo 5 DLC, they said there would be a certain number of updates coming completely free to halo 5 but they never said the DLC had to stop there, or maybe they may add some blue team campaign or arbiter campaign or yes perhaps an odst game but I kinda think that’s a bit dull.

Why would Halo 3A split the community? If its like Halo CEA the multiplayer segment will be built off the Halo 5 engine.

Well if you think back to the development of Halo 5, they did state that Halo 6 has been in development for quite some time (5+ years). With that also in mind, it is quite possible that there is some sort of teaser (that hopefully isn’t misleading) for Halo 6.
However, I can also agree in that there is a possibility that there is some spinoff game or something else that they have been hiding for quite some time. I mean look at how they hid the Halo 5 Forge for Windows 10. We had no idea that was coming.

Just wanted to address this SquirtleDaNinja, but this wasn’t the case a few years back. They announced the Halo TV series at a prior E3 event, so an update or news on the series could occur at this year’s E3.

Because if halo 3 anniversary released I know I wouldn’t bother buying it because I’ve already played it and completed it, I’d continue to play halo 5 and I’m not the only one, I didn’t say it would split the community, I wouldn’t expect it to erupt into rows and chaos but we have all seen articles about how halo 5’s number of players isn’t actually that much compared to other games, 343 wouldn’t want halo 5 players to go play halo 3 multiplayer as it would be even less players on both games to match people up with. The less people playing the multiplayer the not as enjoyable experience.

Why don’t we have a memes thread yet lol?
I would love to see a revamped Halo Waypoint that has a ‘Career Service record overview’ page announced. It bothered me when 343 watered down the tracking of achievements when the website was redone.
It used to show total MM kills, deaths, total campaign kills, playtime and achievement tracking (how many out of total) and just a sweet looking overlay. Now it simply has a gamerscore (with no details about what games, progress on each, etc).
Also, Halo Wars 2 information would be great. I actually don’t care to see Halo 6 stuff yet (probably not much of out there of course). Maybe an announcement for H3A next year too!

Halo Wars 2 will be definitely there on E3, that’s 100% for sure. I hope they SHOW and not speak about stupid things about the Halo TV series. And I think we’ll get a teaser for Halo 6. They gave us the Halo 5 teaser 2 years before its releasing date, so there’s a chance they show us a little teaser trailer for Halo 6.
As far as Halo Wars 2 goes, more then likely we’ll get an on-stage demo with a release date and possibly a beta announcement.
I’d also put money on them ending the show with a teaser for the 2017 Halo game.
My hopes are for something along the lines of ODST with a heavy emphasis on the flood, and with a revamped firefight mode.

A remastery of my favorite Halo (H3) would definitely be dope.
I’m really hoping for more info on that Spielberg Halo TV series… It was announced forever ago.
