What I want to know is what do you guys expect out of E3 for Halo Xbox One. I’m going to break this down into a couple of sections real quick.
Halo 2 anniversary or Halo 5:
I honestly want to know what you guys think will be announced. Give me your answer and why.
My answer: I honestly think Halo 2 anniversary will be announced. Why? Seeing all the rumors that have popped up and all the hush hush on the game till so far. I don’t believe that 343i would wait until this E3 to tell us about Halo 5 if that is the game intended for this November.
Further more I believe if H2 anniversary were to release it would not only give us something we could all sink or teeth into, but it would also give 343i more time to develop Halo 5. I’m willing to wait longer for a better game.
Also if this is indeed H2 anniversary that get’s announced to you believe that there could also be a sneak peak of Halo 5 for next year. That’s what happened in 2011. 343i officially announced both games at the same time.
What do you expect to see game play or cinematic wise:
Do you expect to see campaign/multiplayer footage of the game. I personally hope so. Or do you think it will merely be a cinematic trailer meant to fire us up.
My answer: I think we will get both. Maybe not multiplayer game play. But a touch of campaign footage accompanied by an amazing trailer.
Anything else you might like to add that you want to see or you think might be revealed please add it to your response. Maybe even something that isn’t Halo. Destiny maybe or Evolve.
E3 is almost here and hopefully upon it’s arrival I will be greeted with awesome news and footage.
Edit: Additional Info
If H2A is announced and campaign footage is revealed. Which level would you like to see being played. Me personally I would like to see delta Halo or Cairo Station.
Also please stay on topic I’ve seen a few people getting into arguments over opinions and post being made that are quite trivial.
I think it could be either Halo 2 Anniversary or Halo 5. I 'm really expecting some news on the show and hopefully Ridley Scott’s digital feature. If Halo 2 Anniversary this year, then I’m expecting a teaser trailer for Halo 5. In my eyes, anything can happen this year.

I meant to put the show on this post, but I forgot. i would love to see some info on that. I felt that FuD was well done, so if the show got the attention it deserves it could be way better.
I think we will definitely see Halo 2 Anniversary revealed at E3. I expect the trailer to probably show some campaign gameplay and comparison shots of the old and new graphics, maybe some multiplayer gameplay. We’ll probably also get another teaser trailer for Halo 5 if it’s coming next year.
I’m hoping for halo 2 anniversary i had to buy 3 different copies to find one that worked and even that one freezes also I’d like to unlock some achievements. I hope they include the DLC maps at launch for no extra charge but that may be wishful thinking
Halo 2 Anniversary announcement, no questions asked.
There’ll probably be something Halo 5 related too. But from the lack of new info (except a concept art release), I don’t think Halo 5 is coming out this year.
Now, as for what they’ll show…
Halo 5 first. Probably some Campaign gameplay, then a “Coming 2015”.
Then they’ll show Halo 2 Anniversary. It’ll show Campaign and a graphic comparison, then announce Terminals. Then, they’ll reveal its Multiplayer is being remade also at the very end with a 2 second Multipayer gameplay tease. Then, it’ll say “November 9, 2014”.
Then, after that’s done, some person from 343i will come out, say they’re excited for what’s coming, then say something like “Preorder Halo 2 Anniversary, and get exclusive access to the Halo 5 Multiplayer Beta coming Spring 2015”.
VOICE OF GOD/ANNOUNCER (Jeff Steitzer): A company founded on computers… has become a world-wide name. Microsoft has supported all types of technological advances, in the past from practical, to entertainment. Please give a warm welcome to Xbox’s Chief Executive Officer, Phil Spencer.
Phil Spencer: Welcome. We have a lot in store this year for the Electronic Entertainment Expo. Starting with the next-generation Xbox One updates and the future of cloud gaming… and later with are supporting game companies, 343 Industries and Black Tusk Studios. So without further endue, we shall begin.
It really think it is going to be Halo 2 anniversary announcement and gameplay or a trailer.
And a new Halo 5 trailer perhaps with release date for other one of them or for both.
If H2A comes this year and will have terminals, they could/would have hints on H5 story, perhaps making the wait of H5 very exciting.

Yeah this sounds about right. I can get on board with this. I’m sure they’ll have someone come out on stage and play a level in the campaign that we all know very well. But he’ll play it like he’s never seen the game before while someone in narrating in the background.
I’m sure you’re correct in saying that a graphic/visual comparison will be made between now and then. However I would love it if they announced the switching feature again, just like in Halo CEA. I love that feature.
I hope for Halo 2 anniversary , I had some problems with that game and finally played it on PC , but it really wasn’t a good experience .
beside that , if they release Halo 2 this year they will have more time to work on Halo 5 and make it better .
I’m SUPER hoping for Halo 2 Anniversary. I wanna play the campaign all pretty like.
How I’d like to see it revealed? With the Halo 2 Idle Menu Video, remade frame-by-frame with the new look.
(Side note: I’d be REALLY happy for Halo 5 news in addition, and would love to see some Halo TV stuff and where that’s going to fit in the grand scheme of things.)
But, I feel like both could be announced at the same time. I can see the same thing happening this year as it did back when CEA / Halo 4 were shown. I just hope this is the last Anniversary title for Halo. Halo 2 is the only one that looks “outdated,” and not being able to play it on a 360 without some graphical problems bugs me.
(And yes, I still have my old Xbox, but I don’t like playing where I use that because the room it’s in is either super hot or super cold. :P)
Halo 5, the same as Halo 4, but now with ‘look down sights’ and no jump.
Weapons can now be modded in dozens of different ways to really let your ‘playstyle’ shine, and we’re adding in 17 real-life machine guns with almost zero differences between them.
Halo 5: Apparitions, out Nov 2014. Sequel to follow in Sept 2015.
> I expect this in terms of content:
>
> - Halo 2 Anniversary: gampeplay + playable on floor + release date
>
> - Halo 5: Proper announcement trailer made with ingame engine + release 2015
>
> - Steven Spielberg’s Halo TV Show: trailer + release date
Yup, exactly what I’m anticipating.
Should be an exciting summer.
