Is it just me or did Chief feel more like Chief in the E3 2019 trailer than he has in a long time? Those straight and to the point interactions, it just felt like old Chief again.

Every time he talked I got more excited lol Now don’t get me wrong, I loved Chief’s character development in 4, but there was just something about this trailer…

Yes. And I’m confident that this new pilot character, should he remain, will allow for more human expression. Chief will have to go into the “I need a weapon” mode to fight and survive, but this pilot and his family will serve as a reminder of what must be fought for.
I really wanted to see some gameplay or perhaps a little bit more, but after watching this trailer a few more times, I think they’re really doing the right thing with the story and with Chief as a character–and I actually think it will make the best out of the more human side of him we witnessed in Halo 4.
