Ever since Halo 3, it seems the Halo series has become almost an annual occurence, every year there is a new Halo game of some sort. So I am wondering what you all think will be shown at E3 this year in regards to the next Halo game. I personally highly doubt they’re ready to show us anything on Halo 5 yet, nor do I want to be hearing about Halo 5 already. I am expecting an ODST style spin off game. I also think this spin off game will be a launch title for the new Xbox. What do you think we’ll see in regards to Halo this year at E3?
Probably just some statistics of how well Halo 4 sold. I don’t expect any concrete news from 343i or Microsoft.

Gears, Halo and Forza are all MS really has for big exclusives, so I think we can expect at least one of those a year, and since Judgement will be out in about a month, that rules out a Gears of War reveal at E3. Forza Horizon came out around the same time as Halo 4, so there may be yet another Forza game.
With MS launching a new console they’re going to need the software to sell the hardware and what better way to do that than with a Halo game at launch. I am about 95% sure there will be a Halo game of some sort this year.
Bungie’s new game “Destiny” will be coming out this year though too, and for the first year it will be exclusive to Xbox, so perhaps that will be their big launch title. Still, numbers seem to suggest that there will still be a Halo game this year.
