Why do your shields with basic weaponry go down too fast, as soon as I spawned, I got shot a few times and died, wtf!?!? Make the shields the way they are supposed to, and tone down the power of some weapons. Shouldn’t die from a few shots, this ain’t COD. Otherwise, it’s pretty awesom stuff.
I agree, I think the automatic weapons (AR/SMG) should be toned down a bit.
From the overwhelming complaints of AR/SMG, its definitely getting nerfed. More people seem to be hating on the game than enjoying it. Forum wise.
What used to take 4 coordinated members of team with precision weapons is achievable with 2 rookies and an AR. Not enough time to even thrust away.
Actually liking the beta so far. Gotta use the thruster to stay alive though. Don`t stray to far from cover.
Death music has got to go. Does 343i want people rage quitting?
The kill times are ridiculously fast, especially if your opponent has a better connection than you, then you have no chance
I think the main issue is just that the AR is overpowered. Though the shield recharge delay ought to be a tad shorter, too.

That is because 90% of the people playing it are too busy playing and don’t waste their time coming on the forums to complain. We are the vocal minority.
Kill times are way too fast for their own good. Even worse with how powerful the automatic weapons have become.
i like the pace of the game and the weapons balance people’s can’t just pick up a DMR or BR and dominate as much over people spawning with AR and pistol for the first time ever in halo they have managed to balance non BR starts, if they must Nerf them I hope it’s very slightly to still keep the balance that they have now

I thing the auto need a slight nerf in range and damage but not by much just very small. I die very fast because Im either being double to triple teamed, grenade to death and getting shot out of nowwhere while my shields are recharging. really making me mad.

Gotta be more aware. Heads up and look before you leap. I see sprint getting people killed left and right. Staying alive is much easier in this than in H2A by a mile.

I agree with most of you a lot, but it’s not just the ar and stuff they need to tone down, but every weapon, and make the shields the way they were in the other halos, let them recharge while running and stuff.

It’s multiple things at this point. One is the timing of the battle, between spawns and getting naded then one shot your through. Also the team work is the main problem on these MP FPS…

If you had skill it took four shots. Or with a well placed grenade thrown first only one shot. Aim for the head not the body.
Day 2 of the beta… and now I I can see how powerful the AR/SMG is, it’s extremely powerful. In the previous Halos if I was better than the entire other team, I should be able to take down multiple guys with a BR no problem. But now it’s like killing one person in MID range with a BR against a AR I have to do a perfect 4 shot. While they have room for error, even if they miss some shots, they got more than enough ammo in the clip to finish someone off.
Killing multiple players is much much more difficult now, they either gotta nerf the damage or the range on those ARs. I dont care much for the SMG, since it’s sort of a power weapon now, it’s like the SAW in Halo 4.
