Duplicate Steam Key

I’m still waiting on a 2nd Steam Key after the first one I received was a duplicate, has anyone received a working one?

Apparently they are supposed to have sent out the new ones for everyone who received duplicates but that was about a hour ago that they announced that. I know i myself haven’t received it yet and another dude on twitter apparently got a new one that was still a duplicate.

That’s strange… I’m wondering how they can tell if a key is a duplicate or not.

I’ve just recieved a second steam key now, however the issue appears to still remain as this one is also saying it’s a duplicate

Hi guys, I had this issue and sent in a ticket and got a new one messaged to me that worked, keep trying :smiley:

Nice one! I submitted a ticket an hour ago, fingers crossed it can get sorted. I know they probably have a lot going on at the moment! ><

Same situation here. Received a new code and it says it’s already redeemed.

Where do you submit tickets for broken keys? I accidentally deleted my key… :frowning:

Seems like a bad batch still got through the second time for some of us, we just need to wait a little longer :smiley:

I just got my second key because my first one was a duplicate but its just another duplicate key.

There was an issue with duplicate/invalid Steam keys earlier, resulting in codes having to be re-generated and published a few times. 343 have resolved this issue now and distributed new and working codes to everyone affected. If for any reason your new code still does not work, please file a support ticket on the Insider Support Site.
