Duplicate Key

I get an error on Steam saying that the key for the Halo: Infinite flight test I was given is duplicated, it sais that my key has been activated in another account.

I would try submitting a ticket to support on both halo waypoint and steam. Godspeed brother

Good luck, all tickets I have submitted come back with “Halo Support is unable to create new flight invitations or modify existing invitations.” So i guess we are both SoL.
Someone is either brute forcing keys or they sending out duplicates

Had the same issue and got the same response. I even participated in the last flight tech preview too which is upsetting.

I thought I’m the only one having this kind of issue… I just got out of the bed just to check even though I’m still sick, just to get greeted by that Duplicate Key message from Steam…

reached out to tech support and they basically say there’s nothing they can do and want give any further response. Services like that make the ticket system pointless.

343 really dropping the ball using a system with keys that can easily be brute forced, good to know i’m gonna be missing out on my ONE DAY OFF. Kudos 343.

Same it also says a duplicate key for my activation key as well and I was so excited for this flight as I didn’t get to play for the last flight.

is it really that hard to lock out the accounts of people using brute forced keys that clearly aren’t the accounts they were issued to? The solution should be as simple as giving us new keys.

Something interesting, I technically got two Steam keys, both of them duplicated.
The steam key on the system message I received and the steam key on my profile flight test section are different.

Yeah this blows I had this planned for my stream and now theres nothing they can do

343 are aware of issues with duplicate/invalid Steam keys and will be addressing this.
