Dumbest thing ever added to Halo

I’m not one to complain. But the jetpack. It was OP in reach and it is OP in Halo 4. Hasn’t 343 learned from Bungie’s mistake? The jetpack does not belong in Halo. The really should have given the thruster pack more thrust and then it would be much much better.

I think you are mistaken, the jetpack in Reach was fine and in Halo 4 this jetpack is absolutely in need of a stamina boost. If anything the jetpack is underpowered in this halo.

Personally don’t mind it at all.

now active camo is a different story…
that should NOT be a custom loadout. EVER

Play on, say, Complex…

All people do if fly around. Give them a rocket launcher and they can fly around and boom, you’re blindsided. It really does not belong in Halo at all.

The only armor ability i cant stand is Active camo.

hate the jet pack with a passion it ruined halo reach, i always make it a mission to kill jet pack users repeatedly

Whoever said the jetpack in Reach was fine is a d.a. The whole game of Reach was made for BKs. Easy mode and people played even more like a B in it. The jetpack is GOOD in this game. It got what it deserved.

In reply to someone posting an example of a guy jet-packing with rockets:

You and a friend can kill him in a matter of seconds. The guy is asking to be killed IMO and it is easy. They are a free open target without the ability to strafe. You and a friend lay down 2 DMR/BR shots each and then one lands a head-shot- he’s done. Alternatively laying down a 5-shot yourself works just as well.

Halo is (or used to be) a team-oriented game. Just play like a team and you won’t have a problem.

I don’t think the jetpack will get what it deserves until it is removed from Multiplayer.

Out of all the games i have played, i’ve only encounterd like 5 jetpackers.
My point is there arent many jetpackers in Halo 4, atleast in my experience.

I agree it shouldn’t be in multyplayer. It was game breaking in halo reach. but i havent noticed it as a problem in 4 yet. I dont really see many people using it.

And when I play by myself like 95% of the other people who play Halo. I don’t play Halo to be looking straight up in the air all the time.

The game was so great day one when barely anyone had a jet pack. Now at least 75% of people in the game use it.

Um, wut. People using the jetpack are just free kills. Using it is like standing out in the open with a sign that reads “please kill me”. I love it when people use the jetpack.

I hope they do not remove the jetpack! I like the jetpack myself I really like it on Reach as well. I dont get why anyone would want to remove the jetpack for I really dont.

Are you seriously complaining about the jetpack guy? The guy with no cover at all around him and easy as -Yoink- to take down? The only time the jetpack guy is a threat is when he has a sticky detonator.

Yeah only the guy who it completely above my field of view with a rocket launcher, forcing my to look straight up in the air before I get blown up.

Somebody already said it, the jetpack has no power in this game as opposed to Reach. There are a lot of buildings on Complex you cannot even come close to getting on top of with it, even with a full boost. Sure, I would rather not have it in the game at all, but at least it’s pretty worthless in this game.

take my jet packs? well then put armor lock back in so i have an AA to use.

things that dont’ belong in loadouts is jetpack active camo and pv

Fully disagree. Jetpack in Reach was game breaking at 50% Onyx or higher. In H4 it took a significant nerf, but is still right behind promethean vision in the OP department. If PV wasn’t in the game, I assure you JP would be abused up the wazoo, as it was in Reach.

You should change your name to MasterTroll89. :stuck_out_tongue:
