So is Halo combat evolved going to be like halo 3 and odst with online? What ever 343i does they should make a bold choice and brign back duel wielding in Halo 4 am i right or am i right
I think duel wielding should come back but for it to come back the assault rifle would need to have it damage reduced. the assault rife is the same power as 2 SMGs plus you can throw nades while using the assault rife (which with the SMG would force you to drop one of your wepons)

Yes i would love to bring back duel wielding but as peave say’s AR needs to be reduced. And if not, removed.
Yeah, I would love to see dual wielding back in Halo 4, but I hope they make it more useful than it was in Halo 3.
It wasn’t useful in H3 because the AR had the same (or similar) sort of power but could throw nades too so it negated the dual wield aspect.
There is a high chance of dual wielding to return in H4. Frankie said that they would be returning to the roots which made the so popular, and what made Halo set itself apart from other shooters. Dual Wielding was one of them in Halo 2, from the way I see it. So I do think I see it coming back in the future, but in the case it doesn’t I wouldn’t care.

I dont understand why you wouldn’t care, in Halo 2 duel wilding was really important to the way the game played, Take midship for example, 2 bases, small centre and only 2 BRs. If it wasn’t for the plasma rifle and SMG combo that map would be so stale. I think as a halo fan duel wielding is really important.
Was I the only one that used to play levels on halo 2 campaign and try only to use duel wielded weapons? The first level was great for duel SMGs or Plasma rifle SMG combo.
In halo 3 the duel wielding didn’t work as well because standard weapons had higher damage rates and for some reason Bungie did not feel the need for small enclosed maps in the same way as you found in halo 2.
To some all that up. I think that they should bring back Duel Wielding and make it a useful tactical choice
Ah, the dual wield. One of my favorite Halo 2/Halo 3 features. I remember using dual plasma rifles on snowbound and simply owning enemy players. However, it was quite annoying when people dual wielded the maulers and owning US. 
Still a great feature. I don’t know why Bungie removed dual wield or the awesome weapons like the mauler. (It IS fun when YOU use it :D) And the Plasma Rifle was so much more fun to use! Oh, the memories…

Snowbound is such a underrated map. OT yes id love duel wielding to return
Dual wielding would be fine with me if they actually make it worth the effort of pursuing two weapons. That was really more of a multiplayer issue however.

Halo CE will not have duel wielding and yes for duel wielding for halo 4 it will be nice ti have that option again.

of course Halo CE wont have Duel Wielding, it wasn’t there when the game came out the first time…
