Will there be duel wielding in halo 4? Me and my friend were talking about this today and I wasn’t sure if there was gonna be duel wielding.
An article said probably not, but it’s still not too likely.
If I remember right an article somewhere confirmed no. I do miss dual-wielding though. It would make me so happy to see a trailer of Master Chief bringing up dual SMGs. 
Well we’re not sure yet, but I wouldn’t mind.
I don’t understand one bit why they wouldn’t add duel wielding. When I think of Halo, duel wielding is one of the first things I think of, I just, don’t understand.

Do you remember why they had to bring back the AR for Halo 3??? Dual wielding is very important to core gameplay, I have no idea what makes you think that.

It was something alot of players liked but was easliy aboused in Halo 2. The classic SMG and Plasma Rifle made small and medium maps very hard to play sometimes cause it killed players fast.

It’s not something that Halo NEEDS, but it’s still a cool addition.
As far as I can tell it hasn’t been definitively ruled out, there just hasn’t been any sign of them being included yet. Would make for a really cool reveal as part of a gameplay reveal ala ODST pistol demo.
I don’t think it is unreasonable to hope.

honestly, i never had a problem with dual wielding. i thought smg / pistol and DUL MAWLERZ WER AWESUM.

umm… reach was kinda hated by the halo community for being so far off the core gameplay and is basically the game that let COD take over halo

I would love for dual weilding to be in Halo 4, it was just awesome in Halo 2 and 3. I remember people used to joke that Halo 3 would have dual weilding Energy Swords…oh how silly! Heck I think it would be great if custom games and campaign/firefight had EVERY single weapon featured through the core Halo games. From SMG to the many different pistols, Carbine and Needle Rifle in the same game! It would be suhweet. Only for custom games and such I suppose though, I doubt it would actually happen. But it would be cool to see all the different/similar weapons side by side each other. Provide some variety weaponwise not seen in MM into custom games and Campaign/Firefight gameplay. Sentinel Rifle and Beam Rifle FTW!

that would actually be pretty -Yoinking!- amazing to have each generations weapons right next to each other.
