Personally i loved duel wielding. it gave a balanced experience to halo and who doesnt love duel wielding needlers and blowing up someone. What are your thoughts?
It’s been confirmed that there will not be dual yielding in Halo 5…
Thanks for ruining everything. btw i havent seen it where they announced that
Define, “balanced experience”.
No dual-wielding ? now thats just sad …

I don’t think you should accuse that poster about ruining everything. It’s not like they made the decision. And I’m pretty sure the lack of dual wielding doesn’t ruin everything. Hell, I’m even for it’s return and if it doesn’t come back (which it’s not) I wouldn’t say that everything is ruined.
I believe they said “We have no plans at this time for duel wielding”.
“No plans at this time” does not deconfirm duel wielding. They said they had “no plans” for Halo 2 Anniversary, but we all know how that ended up.

Well that was more a “they had to” sort of thing, since you know, H2 had it so why wouldn’t the H2A maps not?
As for 5 they’re focusing on making a out of the box effective weapon list. Although I’d prefer duel wielding with duel wields receiving a major range, accuracy, and aim assist decrease, I’d prefer a pistol that can fight against a rifle and stand a chance to win.

Yup, it’s pretty much 343’s way of letting you down gently. I have to believe if dual-wielding was in Guardians, it would be there already. That’s a huge challenge to add when a game is one year away from going gold (and won’t be in the BETA for feedback).
I’m glad, for one, because I never liked dual-wielding. Dual-wielding screams feature but little benefit.
343 needs to prove they can balance a single wield weapons sandbox before they go making things exponentially more difficult with a variety of smaller weapons.
I truly believe its omission is the right decision for Guardians.
