Duck overgrowth

I have never actually hated a map but damn do I -Yoinking!- hate overgrowth. Is there someplace we can put it to a vote to get it removed?

I really enjoy it. The only problem with Overgrowth is the Sword.

OP you are absolutely correct, overgrowth is a trash map as is Riptide. both consist of too many corridors/hallways, too many power weapons (why is the sword on a map like overgrowth? Who thought of that??), too few angles/lines of sight which results in a piss poor map. At this point I would be pleased if 343 started introducing the best of forge maps, the forge is absolutely incredible as are the community’s creations, why not use them in MP? Heck, now that I am on the subject why not introduce a throwback playlist that includes forge remakes like The Pit, Hang em High, ect. Now that would be fun!

Agreed. Sword is truly op on this map, and ruins the experience imo

Getting rid of the sword would probably make it a little better. Shotgun I can live with (there’s a lightrifle and railgun to defend against it) but I have been killed way too many times by crouching sword users hiding around corners.

And don’t forget that when they come out of their hiding spot to attack you, they move 10x faster than you so there’s no escape

The speed boost with the sword, while I understand its purpose, makes it too OP honestly. In past Halos, you had the upper hand with the sword in close quarters areas, but you had to time the usage right or you would get killed before getting within range. Now you just walk and sprint faster than your enemies so they have hardly any chance of escaping

The camo is OP now too since you don’t appear on radar with it. Combine the two on Overgrowth, and enemies don’t stand a chance
