I normally hate criticizing (don’t care if it’s spelled wrong, because hopefully you’ll get my point regardless), but… FFS. It has NO place in Halo 4. It was just tolerable in that video, but I pray it won’t be in the official soundtrack. Otherwise, because dubstep (for some reason) has a large fanbase, 343i will keep adding more and more due to popular demand. And by Halo 6, we’ll have this play during the Legendary ending. And while I like Pewdie, it’s inevitable that, at some point or another, we all get raped in Legendary, and nobody wants it rubbed in their face.
I guess I’m kinda going all over the place, so here’s a summed-up version: please, FFS, no dubstep. Stick with the classic, Halo-y music. Just because Marty’s gone doesn’t mean the music needs to be changed.
I agree, and BTW, there is only going to be dubstep remixes in the bonus disk of the Halo 4 soundtrack, but I’ve had my fair share of arguing between pro dubstepers and anti dubsteppers. It was only one video, I don’t think there is enough room to complain. I don’t like dubstep either, but I know that it was just a multiplayer trailer, so I can cope with it as long as it isn’t in the main soundtrack or in the game, which it isn’t.

Did you ever think of growing up?,343 can do whatever they want,it was a trailer. They WILL be doing a second OST disk full of EDM remixes. Get over yourself,Halo 4s music has some inspiration from Electronica so i understand why they did it.

Okay, so I’m immature for saying something that makes sense. Sure…
I am aware that 343i can do whatever they want, but that doesn’t mean it’s not a bad decision. As I’ve said on multiple occasions dubstep will hurt the identity of Halo.
I also wouldn’t go far as to say Halo 4’s music is inspired by Electronica. It still has a nice classical style to it with small bits of digital noises added in, which actually suit Halo 4 in some ways. Dubstep just isn’t a good match, however.

Halo 4s music is as it has been confirmed by 343. The thing is YOU don’t know anything about dubstep,Dubstep from 10 years ago till now are two very different things and both can benifit Halo. You’re immature for complaining about something that doesn’t need to be complained about and just for the sake of complaining. Its confirmed its not on the original soundtrack, its done move on.

I hate it when people say “deal with it.” It just shows they can’t come up with an reason or purpose for their argument.
This isn’t about whether dubstep is good or bad. I’m not sure why people can’t get that through their thick skulls.
Whenever I hear Halo I think drums, violins, and monks. Certain music just doesn’t go with the mood or tone of Halo.
