These two Marines have been in EVERY Halo game simply as non-canon friendlies, but I think it’d be awesome if the Australian and country-talkin’ Marines became actual characters that assisted the Chief in his endeavors throughout, at least, Halo 4.
How are they non-cannon?

I would say that they’re killable during gameplay, but then again, the same could be said for Johnson in CE. Well, for starters, they manage to be EVERYWHERE at the same time. Whether it be at Delta Halo, or stuck in New Mombasa as Policemen.
Actually when they were on New Mombasa it was non cannon.

Says who?
you can’t be on delta Halo and defending New Mombasa at the same time!

Halopedia said it was a joke by Bungie. So it must be non cannon.

Yeah, okay. Sure.
Pete Stacker and Dubbo should return as canon characters. Johnson is gone and we need a new Sarge… We know Stacker survived the war and he hosted the Hillside memorial. Dubbo survived it too so he should just play a major role somehow as an enforcer.
Dubbo and Stacker are, without a doubt, my two favourite marines. It’s a pity that Dubbo didn’t return in some form during Reach. It would be nice to see them return at some point in the new trilogy.
What was the mexican marine called
In the first game, Mendoza. I’m not sure if the mexican in Halo 2 was ever given a name.
