Dual wielding would be amazing to see return. Even though it really isn’t a core gameplay mechanic, It would be epic to see the new looking Master Chief with dual SMG’s.
This is something that I want to see return! I think it’ll be a great idea!
Duel weilding also has a lot of drawbacks, i love h2/h2a but all the duel weildable weapons are useless. The plasma rifle and needler are a joke. I think the best solution is to bring back duel weilding but ONLY for the smg so that the plasma rifle etc dont have to be nerfed to uselessness. With smg/pistol or smg/br starts there would be enough on the map you could find one to duel weild easily or you may decide to go for the ar/plasma rifle instead.
I’m in the camp that yearns for the return of dual-wielding. I don’t play much MP, but I’ve been told it can complicate balancing. Since balancing isn’t really an issue in campaign, perhaps we can have dual-wielding there and leave it out of MP?
I personally liked DW but I do think it has some negative drawbacks to some of the weapons. I’m all in for it coming back but maybe restrict the options more to pistols and the more useless weapons in H5’s sandbox.

yhea, i hope it returns too, but i liked the weaker weapens dual wield also, gave me kind of a spartan feeling, empty the first mag dual, then hit the enemy switcch weapons and keep shooting. also if you’d time it right you could spray infinite (at least till the bulllets are up. haha luved it
I would also love to see the return of dual wielding because it was awesome doing it in Halo 2 and 3. I tend to quite enjoy dual wielding in Halo 2 especially with SMGs because I frequently dual wield that gun since it feels awesome to do so.
