Dual wielding,yes or no or don't care

I do not care if there’s dual wielding. I mean, i will not use it, but some other people want to dual wield.

Dual Wielding means that one handed weapons are nerfed, and only usable in pairs. I love my pistols being useful by itself, I don’t want to have to have it be with an SMG to be able to take on other guns.

Can we stop creating more dual wielding threats when there are so many already out there? I feel like a broken record saying the same thing about how dual wielding is horrible for Halo over and over.

DW was a cool addition 10 years ago, but actually it did not bring anything special except a broken balance of the weapon sandbox. It’s a “no” for me.

It wont be there but if it was it would be cool for at least the campaign

It was mostly pointless in H2 & H3 and just made the dual weird able weapons weak on their own.

In the past, duel-wieldable weapons were weak when used alone, because Bungie didn’t want them to be overpowered when used together. Even if you duel-wielded, you still had the disadvantages of not being able to use grenades or melee without dropping your second gun. From what I’ve played in the beta, weapons that could be duel-wielded in the past are now excellent weapons on their own, and there’s no need to fix something that isn’t broken.

It doesn’t matter to me, but if I had to choose…no.

NO! It ruins the weapon sandbox and 343 has stated MULTIPLE times they have no intentions of bringing it back. Let die already jesus christ.

Multiplayer no but it could be cool for single player, maybe instead of Chief having SAs he could have dual wielding or something ?

Halo 3 dual wielding yes, it was well done.

Pretty much this. While it is fun, it isn’t really needed or necessary.

It’s a “no” for me. Great idea (If you don’t make those weapons weak on their own), but I use melee and grenades too much for this to be useful.

Why is it necessary to nerf? double the power of the halo 5 smg and magnum as it is when duel weilding, dramatically decrease the range, make the spread way less accurate and decrease stability, there. Duel weilding shouldn’t be weak to power, it should be power to more power but that of which is not controlled. You can have precision or you can have a skew of bullets that spread all over but are more powerful. Duel plasmas doesn’t really change much, unless they plan to improve their ability beyond shields which I hope they do. I think the exchange should be a loss of control but extra damage input from something already significantly powerful.
