I would like to see versions of the musical pieces from prior Halos in Halo Infinite. Of course we are all expecting dual wielding, but more on turret stands, what I mean by this is, you know how marines could carry turrets over their shoulders and in their laps, and place them down. This would be an interesting and new ability to add to Halo, and would complicate combat in campaign and multiplayer. Whilst carrying it you would be significantly slowed and would only be able to defend yourself with a pistol (small light weight weapon).

> Not sure about the deployable turrets being a thing, as you can already just rip one off its stand, and travel with it. This would be a worse version of that. A turret that can be moved around, with unlimited ammunition, also leads itself to being abused. If it doesn’t have unlimited ammunition, then it wouldn’t be worth it. Just wield a pulled off turret.

I see where you’re coming from. But I will clarify my point, the objective to placing turrets; allows you to create a gun nest, incorporating strategy and changing the direction of the battle. This placed turret will also be able to be ripped off, maps will begin with no preset turrets, orbital drop pods or Pelicans will deliver these turrets at the beginning of the game and it will be up to one person from each team to decide where it is placed. Think about it, it’s an interesting mechanic. I repeat, this will not be a ‘perk’ or ‘class’. What I meant as to people ‘expecting dual wielding’ is that, we know 343i has considered that some players will want this feature. It was fine in Halo 2, it was perfect in Halo 3, it is bad*** and I can’t see why not.

> All is a strong word to use. I don’t think anyone is expecting dual wielding to return. Bungie realized how poor of a gimmick it was and 343i never even attempted a crack at it. I wouldn’t hold my breath. Your other point about deployable turrets could be interesting. Something similar to the mulcher from GoW could be fun to play around with.
‘Poor gimmick’ although Halo was one of the first games to incorporate this and it is so iconic to Halo. Come on, this is one of Master Chief’s favourite combo’s!
