Dual Energy Swords

An Energy Sword is held in each hand. By using alternating swords the user can lock onto, and lunge at, a second enemy while impaling the first enemy. A third person animation would occur while impaling an enemy so the user can spin his view around looking for his next target, similar to assassinations. The impale animation can be interrupted to lunge at a second enemy, unlike assassinations. By using this animation interruption technique the user can string together chains of sword impales if enemies are close enough to lunge from enemy to enemy.

Personally I wouldn’t want that in Halo 4.

I think that would be way too overpowered!

Duel weilding has been confirmed not to be in halo 4. So what would the ppint of duel energy swords be?

Realise the fantasm of a 13 years old child?

Double Swords = :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

What about duel Gravity hammers ?

1 Sword + Sprint was overpowered enough.

You want 2???

that would actually be rather gratifying. i would say yes to that. even if it is “over powerd”, i would suggest that it goes slower then, so once ur doing your first animation, you have to target another player for a full one second before the crosshair locks on and you can lunge, that would atleast mean it takes some effort.

Besides the fact that dual-weilding is not returning, the way dual-weilding works in Halo would not really change the way a single sword works compared to two swords, except maybe to win sword duals easier.

> An Energy Sword is held in each hand.

This would be sick…

However the rest of it is too much like an Assassin’s Creed/Halo hybrid for me. The “execution streaks” in the AC series are extremely similar to this. So I don’t really think it would fit well into Halo.

I wish they just allowed these things and others in just forge or custom games.

Completely redundant. One sword is already good enough. Two is just stupid.

How would you even utilize that? Despite swinging an arm with both triggers

Ehh, I could KIND of see it work out…

Mostly, I could see it implemented in that when using 2 swords, you could not use grenades. Also, I would change it that while using 2 swords, you CANNOT lunge, but simply swing the sword like a melee attack, but with two swords, you melee twice as fast, almost having a constant melee going on.

This would make you ridiculously crazy at close range, as it should be, but defenseless at a distance.

They could make it so the sword can be split in Half and it would take two hits to kill a target, the benefit would be that the strikes would be faster, and the downside is that it takes two hits to kill someone, with each kill it would go down my 5% and if you reconnect the swords they will go back to tens. They could even have their own assassination.

Why not just add the ability to throw the sword. Lol kidding

However, the Arbiter in Halo Wars did have dual swords. But, that was a RTS.

> Why not just add the ability to throw the sword. Lol kidding

Now that would just be absolutely ridiculous.

However, if you could create some sort of crossbow mechanism to launch the sword…

yeah
