Dropshock Brigade :: Recruiting for Halo 4

I. Basics

Introduction: Hello I am Pfc. Deuce of the Dropshock Brigade, I’d like to offer you a chance to be in one of the most mature, active and structured Halo Reach clans around. Currently we have more than 50 members from six different countries. Our clan is filled with great members who like to have fun and be competitive. If this clan interests you, please read on:

II. What We Have To Offer

Gaming- Our clan has plenty of clan matches against other clans. We do plenty of matchmaking amongst ourselves, and also have practices throughout the week to improve our gameplay. In these practices, we not only learn new strategies but also improve chemistry amongst ourselves.

Professionalism- Our clan acts as respectful and professional as possible at all times. But, not only is our behavior professional, so is our website. Our website was created by scratch from our founder, Vitamin, and he has maintained it ever since. Just glancing at our website will show you just how serious we are, and will accurately express how we handle the clan.

Community- We have members from all over the globe and there will always be someone online. Our members are the reason the Brigade is special. Each of their individual efforts and personalities contribute to the Brigade’s success for the past two years. We have a forum on our website where you can communicate with other personnel off xbox live.

Promotions- Promotions aren’t easy to come by in the Brigade. If you want one, you need to work for it. Throughout your time in the Brigade, you will learn what it truly means to be a leader. You may think that it is just for gaming, but it teaches you lessons in life for the future.

III. Becoming a member

Enlisting: To get into the brigade, you must first register on our website and fill out the Enlistment Form. Make sure to fill everything out and read the page following the form.

This is where you begin your enlistment process which is kind of like a screening where you have to prove to us that you want to be in the clan. After you fill out the enlistment form, you need to stay active on both our website and on xbox live. During this time, you will have to obtain a sponsor, which is someone who looks after you and assists you with any problems or concerns you may have. If you have a sponsor and you have been a Recruit for at least a week, you will be eligible for bootcamp where we test you on your communication skills in the game. Finally, you take an exam that tests you on your knowledge of the Brigade.

If you have any questions check out our FAQ section.
Otherwise contact me on XBL, Gamertag is Deucetacular.
See you on the battlefield.

I have to say that your clan is probably the most organized and professional-looking.

Thank you for the compliment. We pride ourselves in fair-play, good sportsmanship and professionalism.

Yeah, that is essential to running a good clan. I can also see that your clan competes against different clans. Is there a specific skill level of your clan? Like not-so-good or really good? Is your clan very competitive?

WOW compaired to the one i made a few seconds-ago, mine SUCKS!

We have members from all skill levels. There are those who have just delved into the series with Reach, those who are seasoned veterans from Halo CE and Halo 2 and even some members who compete on the professional level at MLG events. Everyone has to start somewhere and those who are willing to learn will improve by attending our practices.

We have frequently scheduled clan matches against other clans in the Halo community. We play competitively and play to win but are respectful throughout the matches.

Do you have any practice matches this weekend? I was thinking about playing a round or two with some of your clan.

if we have a large amount of old gtags can we simply put in the one before our current one?

Only Personnel of the rank Private and up are allowed to attend practices. We do play matchmaking everyday though and you are more than welcome to join us then. We have a full roster with everyone’s Gamertag listed so that you can add them. You can add me as well GT: DSB Solace and I will invite you to one of our games.

All right. I’ll probably be on some time this Saturday, so we can play then.

Saturday is actually a perfect day to play with us, as at 10pm EST we host a custom game night every Saturday. All are welcome to attend and have fun with other members.

I added you on XBL Spartan. I’ll send you an invite this weekend.

Ok. I’ll be on Saturday. Well actually, maybe a little bit today, too.

Solace can you add me too and invite me tonight.

I wanted to thank the DSB clan for the great game night. You all seem like a really great group of guys who are dedicated to their clan. Keep playing, guys. See you on the battlefield.

Spartan70

Glad you had fun Spartan. We welcome you to join us again next week for a good time.

I would, but I think that I’m going to be out of town for most of next weekend.

Just so people know, our clan is only for super awesome people. So unless your sure that your super awesome, don’t even bother.

Special Note: Being super is not necessarily a requirement. It just makes you more awesome. Still, you absolutely must be awesome.

Extra Special Note: If you feel like you are not quite awesome enough, all you have to do to become awesome is go to our website. Boom, instant awesome.

Do you guys have any sort of mentoring program? Reach is my first Halo game, and my first FPS shooter in general, so I have a lot to learn if I want to become decent. I’d love some help.

Also, will joining the group be a big time commitment? I’m only a casual player, so the most time I’d be able to devote to the group is Saturday nights and some Fridays.

We are always willing to help players new to the game improve their skill, which sort of turns in to my answer for the next question. There is a lot of options when it comes to your commitment to the clan. If you are content with being at a lower rank, then you are able to do the minimum. This means attending two of our practices every week (we have sessions Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday) at 9 PM EST assuming your American, but even if you can’t make it to all of them, we are content if we know you try.

Long story short, we are a place for both casual and hardcore players.
