Dropping 100$ on REQ packs day one

Anyone else doing anything similar? Paycheck comes in the same day, so I figured I’d have some fun with it.

I don’t plan on buying any REQs, but i guess you’re supporting 343 more :stuck_out_tongue:

You’re going hard in the paint. I respect that. But after my $500 purchase of the console, I am to resort to $40 for REQs and that’s probably as much as I’ll ever spend on them since I got the REQ bundle for free. Who knows, I do like supporting Halo so I may spend more in the future, maybe $5-$10 here and there. Whatever helps us get free DLC, bro.

How about spend that $100 on Monster and Hot Pockets so you get at least some amount of real-world value out of it

I’m dropping 20 bucks on REQ packs, only because I have 20$ sitting in Xbox and I don’t plan on buying anything with it.

You should record the opening of said packs,I’d love to see what you get.

People are free to spend their money as they choose but I plan on just unlocking them with game play, kind of like achievements.

That’s a good idea! I’ll probably end up doing that.

same here. I don’t like spending money on anything, especially not stuff I could get by playing a video game I enjoy. But to each their own I guess

No you can earn them in game so why buy them.

I bought the console and I feel that was enough money spent on this :stuck_out_tongue: Ill just settle with the grind and my weekly premium packs

I’ve already dropped to much money into halo 5 to justify doing that, but if you have the money to, by all means go ahead and have fun, I would probably do the same thing.

Ive never done any microtransaction in a game and dont plan too because I will enjoy trying to get the REQ packs.

I plan on putting some money in at launch for reqs,I mean yah you can get them in game and I still am but it’s fun for me. It’s a personal choice honestly. Since there is so much things to Unlock there will still be more stuff to get from in game reqs

I by no means have tons of money, but really Halo is one of the only games I play, and one of the only franchises of games that I buy, so I might as well support the HCS pool and 343… And get some bad -Yoink- armor while I do it ;p

Same, with the amount of time I reckon myself and a lot of others are likely to spend playing the game it ought to earn a lot of req packs over time! Unless it’s stingy. Hope not!

I dunno, im considering it as well. But i feel that if i spend a lot on REQ Packs it will lose a lot of incentive to keep playing multiplayer. Their will not be any excitement opening REQ packs if i know i have all the armor or at least the armor that i am after.
It’s what happened with Destiny. Once i obtained every weapon and armor for all three classes, i lost interest.

I might only spend 10 bucks at first, remember they are going to add stuff to the req system over time. So I might want to wait it out until the mk IV/V is in there so I have a better chance at that.

NO! NO! NO! -Yoink- MICROTRANSACTIONS. -Yoink- EVERY AAA GAME THAT THINKS THIS IS OKAY!
i do like halo 5 and will play the hell out of Warzone but $100 on reqs? I hate how people support this micro-transactions bull-Yoink-

I’ll probly buy like 2 or 3, premium packs should keep my inventory fine.
