Drop weapons?

Well, sorry if it makes me sound stupid. During one of the panels, can’t remember if it was SDCC or RTX, 343 said you could drop weapons.

Does that just keen swap them for a new gun, or something different. I’m sorry but it got me thouroughly confused.

I’m led to believe that you will be able to make your character look like he’s holding the gun down/at ease (lower weapon) instead of up and ready in addition to also dropping your weapon(s) leaving you empty-handed. If I’m wrong, my bad but that’s just my impression.

yeah I was chilling when I heard that

I don’t give a -Yoink- about lowering weapons but we need the ability to drop weapons

they don’t need to make it so you go weaponless … at least drop one and keep the other

No, they meant that you’ll be able to lower your weapons. It’s mostly for machinima.
