Pretty much all instances of the drop wall being used have it immediately getting shot through with pepper fire from any weapon and becoming near pointless. It should have more damage resistance or be invincible altogether (aside from its projection point).
Yes
It doesn’t need a buff. It serves it’s purpose perfectly.
Drop wall is meant to be used as a means to proactively give yourself an advantage in a fight. It allows you to shoot through it and damage enemies while being protected from enemy fire from the front. In a 1v1 fight, a player who has set up a drop wall between himself and the enemy will win 90% of the time. Each segment of the wall is weak, but even a few bullets absorbed by the shield will put your opponent at a disadvantage. A kill with the BR for them suddenly becomes a 6-shot kill whereas for you it’s a 4 shot. And you can also move from panel to panel during the fight, giving yourself even more protection. If done properly, you are forcing your opponent to either shoot through several panels, try shooting the generator, or try getting through or around the shield. In any of those scenarios you are left with the advantage and should be able to secure a kill easily against a single opponent, possibly 2.
It’s not as strong as the bubble shield or armor lock, but it doesn’t need to be. Unlike those defensive equipment, the drop shield does not bring gameplay to a hault. There is counterplay to it that allows an attacker to potentially fight it. Rather than wait it out or run into a melee battle, enemy players can choose to flank it or destroy it. It still slows down an encounter but it doesn’t stall it.
It’s imo the most balanced defensive ability in the franchise. The only change I would even consider is a faster deployment time, but too fast and it becomes a reactive ability rather than a proactive one, which I’m not a fan of.
I think Drop Wall can use a little bit more cover, instead of a 180 degree forward wall, make it cover abit of your overhead and abit of the sides too.
A Half sphere is just nice.

Agreed. I think people are trying to use it like bubble shield and disappointing themselves.
Right now players are far away from mastering/utilizing everything the way they should, the Drop Wall (from a theoretical perspective) is insanely strong. It may not help you much against an opponent with an AR, but it could block a rocket, it could be used in combination with a snipe, etc.
This goes for all equipment/weapons in the flight as well, I think everything will be seen differently as players adapt to the new meta in Infinite.
Fact: It is weak in comparison to the bubble shield for taking damage.
Opinion: good
The drop wall is trash. H3’s deployable cover was far better. It actually blocked more damage and you could jump on top of it. I can’t remember if you could flip vehicles over with it though. You could also block doorways for short periods.
Nooooo no no no no no. Any more and it will just outright stall engagements. I do not want that.
EDIT: Not even as the user.

The drop wall is not comparable to the bubble shield. Its closest to the deployable cover.
No we don’t need bad players using it to hide behind as some sort of bubble shield wall. Use it to get the first shot on someone.

I agree. I just see most people wanting it to be buffed to bubble shield levels of defense.
