Drop pods for human’s and Npc’s in firefight, Forge, and Multiplayer.
You can actually make drop pods in forge, which can then be used in multiplayer maps.

1 word : lag.
Seriously I don’t think this stuff is good unless it is scripted and then its fun for 5 seconds and that’s it.
Would be great, but I don’t think they will do it.
This would serve no purpose in gameplay whatsoever. Other than making players more vulnrable on spawning. In short, it’s a pointless gimmick. And Halo has enough of those already. Also we aren’t ODSTs in Halo 4.
Leave it in ODST campain and ODST 2 (which they MUST make!!!)
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm…no. to gimmicky.
That would be pretty cool have it on firefight, But i doubt it won’t happen.
It’d be a really cool idea but also pretty pointless.
Aesthetic values that would take major time from 343i from things that actually matter. So, your answer is no.

Master Chief isn’t an ODST, and yet he used an HEV in Halo 2.
I think this is a great idea.
Maybe for spawning in Invasion or Firefight? Not all gametypes, I don’t think.
Possibly Big Team.
the only problem is that people can’t use drop pods to respawn indoors and it would cause lag in mm

The spawns in Invasion are already Effed up enough, does the enemy really need a 10 second warning to your spawning? Not to mention the repetitive cutscene of you falling from space.

It doesn’t have to be all the time. It could just be for the first spawn only.

would be fun.

Spartans can drop from orbit as well.
This isnt a bad idea, but not so sure if it has a purpose or if it would screw up gameplay.

Not to mention possible lag.
Besides spartans don’t need Drop pods, the Mark VI can use armor locking to survive the fall (not to be confused vvith the AA.).
I think we should have it as a vehical as in you get in the pod then press a button to launch in what ever direction you position it.
Drop pods serve no purpose at all. Why not just spawn? If its simply because “it would be cool” then that’s not a compelling enough reason. Drop pods would alert the enemy to the fact that you have spawned and exactly where you have spawned. Not only that but what would happen to the pod? Would it disappear or would they pile up??
Not only that but you’d have to get out of the pod and out of the door, so campers would just target the door and let you walk straight into the fire.
I’d much rather a normal spawn method but with a Pelican permanently hovering overhead offering chingun support against enemies to discourage campers.
