Drop pod weapons?

I’m not sure how I feel about that. I’ve always like in Halo when the weapons spawn and knowing where to get them. This seems like it will make match making a lot more random. What do you all think?

well if its predictable then what was the point of having them to end weapon camping, which btw wasnt that big of a problem that needed to be adress over other problems?

what I thought at first too.

If its the way I picture it. It will be a more wider area of map control (So challenging vets to hold different types of areas. Like You need to control more then one area like instead of controlling Ring 2 all day on sanct You would have to move out to a different section of the map to control the next spawn of the power weapons.

Well, I kinda go both ways.

I hope that in Social playlists it is like that, as it is a pretty cool function. Also, it would be kinda nice to be backed up all the way back to your side of the map, and have the other team putting a heavy push on you, and then having a rocket drop down on your side to help you out.

However, I believe it should stay away from the competitive playlist. In the higher-tier Halo games, these spots become seeked-positions at certain times, and really push for coordination and strategy, whereas the random drop pods are going to moreso be like “run around and what happens happens.”

I foresee A LOT of people complaining about lucky Rocket Launcher drops.
