That would be a cool new way to spawn, you can choose a spot to land, get launched from a frigate or a covenant cruiser in a drop pod onto the battlefield.

As an initial spawn for invasion sure but only in certain zones
Depends.
If it’s limited to specific areas, perhaps.
If you can spawn ontop of rockets, clearly broken.
For initial spawn, but not every time, unless you have the option to skip.
Maybe in invasion, instead of waiting to respawn while staring at your own dead body, you wait out the time watching as you fall towards the ground in a drop pod and when the time is up you land and jump out of it. Would be nice…
