I’ve just never liked Buggers, period. I’d have no regrets removing them from the game. But that’s just my opinion.

H2: damage sponges
H3: huge numbers, somewhat fun
ODST: interesting, we get to see their hive, ranks were easily distinguishable
Reach: rare, could be headshotted
If anything, I want the H3/ODST Drones to return. Not absurdly difficult but not too easy.
They were absolute nightmares on Legendary. If they were made to be slightly less of a nuisance, then I probably wouldn’t mind too much. But I seriously doubt they’ll be returning. If the Brutes aren’t, then Drones aren’t.
I always thought the Drones were fun to fight. I’d always try to hit each one in the head so they’ed blow up in reach.
They are NOT fun to fight, for me at least… I prefer Skirmishers… However I don’t think they are coming back as Frankie said that 343i made the Crawlers fun to fight by making them slower when they crawl up walls, unlike the Buggers which is the reason they could be annoying to fight. Sounds like he understands how much of a pain they can be. It’s not proof but sounds like a tone.
