Look at the picture near the bottom of the update where it shows the base and the area outside the base. There is a pelican resting on the top of the base, and the cockpit is open, meaning that it is very possible that you can drive it! THE HYPE IS TOO REAL!!!
I thought they said there will be no drivable UNSC flying vehicles in warzone?
EDIT: after looking at the picture it definitely portrays some level of usability instead of decor, if not drivable maybe as an end game cutscene of your team escaping.

It is possible that it is just early prototype and was gotten rid of in the final game, but they also might just be trying to throw us off to make it a surprise.
DUDE! that was not a very subtle inclusion. That’ll be interesting if it is included. I wanna spartan laser one filled with enemies and get a quad kill or higher.
That is probably the pelican that brought them into the game? Maybe it just parked in early iterations instead of flying away. Those images are from early in the process, maybe they had planned to make Pelicans flyable at that point and cut it later.

Why would they bother to make it park and land, and make it open up if it wasn’t going to be pilotable though? But yes, don’t get too hyped just yet, as they did say they had to scrap many features.
Yea i saw that and thought the same, the open canopy suggests its pilotable. They could be using a Halo 4 model as a stand in but the redesigned scorpion suggests it further along than that.
Did they ever confirm their wasn’t a pilotable UNSC air vehicle ? I just remember them quickly changing the conversation by talking bout the Phaeton.

I thought Scorpions pretty much were single barreled Grizzlies? Or more specifically, Grizzlies are dual-barreled Scorpions?
Also, that image you linked doesn’t look like the Grizzly. I think it’s concept art. It says concept v.03 in the bottom right. I don’t mean to tear your post apart, sorry!

By the end they were but in concept they were going to be single barreled mega-scorpions.
