Reach didn’t allow you to choose your starting weapons and equipment. That’s something that was introduce in Halo 4 and that’s what I’m talking about. Outside of rank, this is what made vehicles useless in the game because you can just spawn in with a plasma pistol to EMP everything and then use a sticky grenade to finish them off.

Nah, it all goes back to Plasma Pistol default starts in CE. Ok, let’s say it really started with either SMG starts in Halo 2 or AR starts in Halo 3. Loadouts was their approach to finally bring us a viable starting weapon by choice. 
Never drink at home personally, only socially with friends so my drink of choice with Halo is water.
Gotta stay hydrated.

A nice glass of bourbon and some BTB with the boys is how Fridays usually go for me. Being an “old guy”, I don’t care so much about the challenges (no FOMO here, I just don’t care lol). Though, I did do the Tactical Ops ones for the MkV Zeta helmet, but got that in one evening. I’m looking forward to trying the Commando/Stalker modes tonight, but we’ll see about the bourbon - feeling a beer or three instead.

I agree. I’m a sigma male, I don’t do things just because other people do it. I prefer to do my own thing, so I play Halo for fun. Unfortunately, Halo Infinite no longer brings me this “fun”. I just play MCC, or something else entirely like Spider-Man on my PS5.

You gotta hit the magic number. 2-4 drinks and I play better. After that there is a STEAP and dramatic fall in my skills. Then I switch to Rocket League.

Hey now, I’m just setting a starting point.
Reach had pre-set loadouts, not picking and choosing exactly what you wanted like in the crappy Halo 4. That’s something you’d see in COD and shouldn’t have been in Halo. Why do you think you don’t see that in Halo anymore?
