What would be your dream game mode in halo infinite? Here is mine: it would be a version of warzone firefight mixed with invasion. How it would work is AI enemies are stationed in a fortress, and the players have to breach said fortress, and complete objectives inside, such as destroying a scarab within a time limit. If the players succeed, the roles are switched and the players defend. Weapons and vehicles would spawn on the map or be airdroped in via pelicans. It would basically be a seige Mode against AI
My dream mode depends on what the comp playlist will look like. I LOVE H5’s current comp settings but would love if there was a social version of it. I love how the gameplay feels but I don’t want to go full sweat mode in ranked all the time so I hope there’s something akin to that in Infinite.
I would like to see a defense mode where one team defends a fortress and the other has to infiltrate it. In the beginning there is no way in, but you can use a siege machine [scarab?] to break the wall and go inside. it would be a little like reach invasion. the defenders would have access to long range and short range power weapons to defeat the possible hordes of enemy spartans. there could be Troop Transport warthogs and stationary [hopefully a unsc type stationary anti vehicle gun like a shade turret but different]

That sounds really cool actually. Halo’s PVE provision has been in flux ever since the first Firefight, but if they are going to evolve it something like this could be absolutely brilliant.
I’d also like to see Horde-style games vs the Flood.

Yes I know precisely what you mean - a Social Competitive playlist which has no ranking implications, but a good place to warm-up/practice even try out new tactics that you’d never dare to in a ‘live’ game. It wouldn’t be particularly difficult to do - I just suspect its downfall would be player behaviour if it became too hogged by people seeking to ‘stomp noobs’ and/or deplete the competitive playlists too much. A possible compromise would be capping how many games a day you could play in it?

This would mean that playable elites are back in the game. One side has AI Marines and the other AI Covey.
12v12 (maybe 24v24?). Same principle of Warzone assault and Halo Reach invasion but just on a bigger scale.
I would love procedurally generated maps… so that every time you take to the arena it’s somewhere you’ve never been.
Dream mode? I say my open galaxy, “No Man’s Halo” thing that I have described in like 80 forums. Slipspace to other planets?

TF2/Overwatch style Escort (OBJECT) to goal. I think that could be a lot of fun.
A more out there idea would be a Spartan social space where you can show off your armor, explore the Infinity or A UNSC camp on Zeta halo, and recruit other spartans for Custom games or Matchmaking.

My dream mode is campaign 
That aside… I would love to see more replay-able skirmishes etc. that are canon within the campaign but are related to multiplayer. Would be a great way to make a more immersive multiplayer experience.
Came up with a new idea. Probably bad, but it seemed fun.
one player is the master cheif. Everybody else plays as an elite/brute with the health and damage output from normal difficulty. If the covies survive x amount of time, or kill the chief, they win
My dream game mode would be a mix of Warzone and Invasion. The UNSC and The Banished are fighting. Players play as Spartans, Elites, or Brutes. Spartans are only on UNSC, Brutes are only on Banished, and Elites are playable on both (The elites can be with the UNSC as members of the Swords of Sanghelios). Each side has AI companions, The UNSC having Marines and the Banished having jackals and grunts. The mode has different objectives, such as capturing and returning intel, capturing bases, killing enemies, etc. There could even be a special map with a Ship Defense objective, which is one side trying to defend a ship and another side trying to board and destroy it, think of the ship phases of Supremacy in SWBF2.
