Does anybody else think Dr. Catherine Halsey may be just a bit smelly by Halo 5: Guardians, considering she is still wearing the same set of clothes as when she was abducted two months prior?
And where is the blood? Sangheili dry cleaners must be amazing.
The magic of plot.
Lol I enjoy threads like these. They really ask the hard hitting questions that make this community great.
Little known fact, Sangheili are a very immaculate race. Strict military discipline will do that and besides energy swords, charges for plasma weapons and food, soap is a well-stocked commodity on Sangheili vessels. Keep my clothing clean has proven to be no difficult task and I believe Sali 'Nyon may have been on laundry duty for a while now. Maybe that is the real reason his little rebellion was began.

Actually according to Karen Traviss books washing oneself was considered herecy and elites only bath in the blood of their enemmies.
This was because Prophet of Kidding had studied an artifact and learned so and Sangheili were dumb dinosaurs who knew nothing but war.

I’ve wondered that too… It also looks like she cut her own hair.

I wonder how well she can operate stuff with one arm.

Erm, didn’t that ODST(although an impostor) from hunt the truth have a mechanical arm? I guess she will have one too. She will be renamed to “The Claw”.
On the whole one arm thing since it’s slightly relevant: I’m not a doctor, but as far as I know amputations aren’t a good cure for bullet wounds. Why would Jul cut off the whole arm when it’ll cause more bleeding and problems than just patching the bullet wound?

What do you mean an impostor?
She hasn’t had one in months.

At a guess, the wound became infected. It’s unlikely a breakaway Covenant faction would have human medicine to hand.
Have folks never seen Star Wars? Undoubtedly the Energy Sword cauterized the wound immediately.

I was under that impression as well.
The missing arm is part of why it’s kind of hilarious to see her wearing the same clothes at least two months later - is it the same wrapping as before? Why doesn’t she at least change that?
It’s actually kind of funny to see this thread because a friend and I were just discussing this the other day… XD
Obviously the Sangheili are far from uncivilized, but at the same time I can’t help but wonder how accommodating their hygiene facilities are for a human - particularly an aging one with one arm.
Halseys clothes are cleaned by nanobots
