I haven’t been able to play since the infection playlist update, I’ve tried everything to fix this error message and nothing works, also my rank is just a spinning loading circle in the top right and will not load.

Yes 3 days now and still no word on a fix!!!
Wtf! Why is this game still broken! Almost a year and it is still a huge pile of crap. I’ve tried everything and I can’t get into to matchmaking.
just finished re downloading the game and at first it didnt work but after a custom game and a minute waiting i was able to search for games again
Make sure your internet connection is fine by first going into settings on the Xbox one then network. Make sure your NAT says open even if it does do a multiplayer test and do not press continue but click your two bumpers and triggers. Some info will show your results click A then should say if your connection has lost Mbps or not.
This should confirm whether or not your NAT is fine. If this doesn’t work go offline where it gives you the option to do so in network go back online try the same method. If not disconnect your connection then reenter your info back in for that connection this time do both the tests the one above the multiplayer test and see if anything changes. Restart your game and test it if this still doesn’t work turn off both your router and modem unless combined then turn it off give it 30 seconds turn it back on and if the light for your connection blinks too fast contact your ISP because its a frequency problem.
Now if this isn’t the case make sure your Xbox is off and have it disconnected you will reboot everything basically and do the previous tests for your NAT. If everything goes smoothly start your game enter mm and it should play fine don’t go for one specific playlist test them ALL. If there is no solution still click and hold the Xbox button there should be a report system detail your issue to Microsoft they may update the console and fix the issue.
If none of these work you wait for 343i to update the current bugs or play another game that works til then.
Same issue here. I bought the console on purpose for Halo MCC but it DOES NOT WORK.

To be honest even when they update and then bring a new playlist it breaks again this game has been dying for a while now.

None of that worked, my NAT is open.

still cannot play and cant find any new methods to try…
Resinstalling, gonna take a while on my connection, at %41 now, if this doesn’t work I’ll be pretty pissed off

what I usually do is start up a custom game, wait till it finishes loading then quit and go back to matchmaking, works for me.
Well im glad that works for you, the message has always popped up for me, but now it WILL NOT go away by any means.
Very irritating, halo is the only game I play and I don’t see it being fixed any time soon.

Haha wait for 343 to fix the bug! That’s a joke right?
It’s now October and I’m suddenly suffering this issue.
Some people have still not had online experience with this game.
The fans crys for help are falling on deaf ears.
343 have no care for the people who want to play their games it seems.
Until halo stops making them money I’d assume it’s going to continue this way.
Even then they’ll probably just throw what’s left of what was once a great game that represented fun, community, change and advancement in gaming evolution to the hounds of hell. That is, once they squeeze the last drop of gravy from it’s withered corpse.
Its a crime, I really loved halo.
Bungie would never have let things go this far while it was in their hands.
I’ve also been on the halo bandwagon since day one, sorely disappointed.

At least members of the halo community are having a go, shame about the people who now make the game.
And to those who think halo 5 is out in a few more days so stop complaining. That’s got nothing to do with why we are upset.

When I’m at work, if I don’t do my job properly People Understandably get upset.
I put a post up about the downloading latest data issue, I was a bit tactless in my delivery of it but I was asking for help. I received no help. Instead the post got blocked and I’ve been told not to put up post’s of a nonconstructive nature.
I apologise in advance if this post is found offensive or nonconstructive in any way.
But for valid argument sake, if this was read by someone who can make a change to the problem at hand and they did something about it. Would that not make this post constructive?
Or
If I was contacted by a person who is trying to do something about the situation with an explination that would put me at ease, is that not also constructive?
Oh and “snickerdoodle” if you read this and I’m posting this in the wrong thread let me know before you threaten to ban me from posting, because that’s hypocriticaly nonconstructive. I’d still not understand why I was band and this issue would still be unresolved. Pfft Nonconstructive my backside!
