This seem to be a rather big problem for a lot of people, and it is affecting me as well, whenever find game is selected all I get is “Downloading the latest matchmaking data, please wait.” Can some at 343i please address this issue, I just want to play some Halo but even after God knows how many months after this game launched, it is still scarred and damaged beyond repair

I’m having the same issue. I saw the message and so I let it do its thing, while I did laundry, cut the grass, made dinner and even did a workout… Four hours later the same message is on the screen. I’ve restarted my xbox one and no remedy surfaced. Have you had any luck?
You made a good point about the issues with this game. Its been a few months since the release of Halo: MCC and still the issues remain. Let me know solution you find if any, I’ll do the same.

That’s crazy I haven’t had this problem, but no one has responded to you?
Third thread on this ive found in a few minutes. There was an update saying this problem is fixed. It is not.
Trying to bring attention to this issue so they dont call it fixed and move on.
I’ve mostly found this issue can be fixed by disbanding my party/game session and forming a new one. One time I also tried a restart and that sorted it.
Not ideal, but at least it let me get on with playing.
