Hey there, i’m new to the Halo multiplayer. I see that theres a file browser feature in the game and i was wondering how would we go about downloading custom maps made by users? Also do we have to add the players gamertag before we can access their custom maps or are the maps all uploaded into a place where we can download them all together?
Right now the file share system is not exactly working as it should and you are only able to download custom maps etc if you know the gamertag of the person who made the map. However this is being looked into and the file share should work like normal within a month. when its online you will be able to just go through a big list of maps made by other people. So until th 343 fixes the fileshare they will not be in a place alltogether. You are just gonna have to do some digging for maps and the creators gamertag or just wait till they fix fileshare. Under settings and files, go to File Browser.
Go to Map Variants and then do a file share search for the gamertag.
Repeat step 2 for game type variants.
