Downloaded Heroic Map Pack- But Maps Won't Show Up

I downloaded the heroic map pack that is free today and it won’t show any of the maps I downloaded. I went into Forge and Custom Games and when I open up the Map selection screen, it just shows the default maps that were already installed on Halo 3- not the heroic Map pack. It is like the map pack isn’t even in my Xbox 360 console.
I have tried exiting the game -restarting it (I own the digital version of Halo 3) and that did not work. Tried looking it up in different game modes and they still didn’t appear. Tried loading up another map like Valhalla and once the loading reached 100%- went to the map screen and still nothing… please help.

I don’t know if this matters- but I do NOT have Xbox Live gold and thus, do not play with other players. But I do like Forge and playing with friends locally.

Don’t quote me on this but I think you may have to have Gold to play the maps. Or what you could always do is delete the map pack from your hard drive and reinstall it. If that doesn’t work you can always go to Gamestop or your local game store and pick up Halo 3 ODST and it comes with a second disk with all the map packs on it for like 5 to 7 bucks if your willing to spend that. Hopefully this is some help man.
