Got the 2 emails being accepted into the flight. Playing on Xbox. Downloaded the game and when I get loaded in it says “Your account is not authorized to play Halo Infinite” even though my email is 100% on this gamer tag. Anyone else having this problem?
I had the same problem but I think restarting the game fixed it

I was restarting the game with no effects

Sorry, worked for me on the first try 
Hard reboot your xbox. Settings > power > force shutdown

Worked for me too the first try, but couldnt get in a match so i rebooted the game then got this… now restarted my whole xbox and lets see if it works…

Same thing just happened to me. I tried rebooting my Series X but still getting the “account not authorized” message. Frustrated and disappointed beyond belief.

Okay thankfully I just found a fix after rebooting didn’t work. Try going into xbox insider hub and leaving the Infinite preview then re-joining. Worked for me!

Rebooting the console worked a treat for me
Guys, just got the game downloaded and now also have the “account unauthorized” issue as well.
Tried a hard reboot, tried to sign out of everything associated with my gamertag, and still nothing.
Anyone have a workaround at all beyond the messages in this forum?

Like others here, go to the Xbox Insiders App, select Infinite, and then leave flight /preview.
It will say pending again, and then effs around for 20 seconds and then pops back up. Note that I did also hard reset as well for this, but is working!

Guys, i have the solution. See the notification in Halo waypoint, accept the invitation to the flight, and hard restet the console

I’m still sus about this, u have to be trolling
I was in the game earlier and then when loading back up said I was not authorised.
Tried a few hard resets but no luck.
Tried leaving the insider preview in the insider app, and re-joined and still had same issue. I then did a full hard reset and it’s working fine now.
Strange issue but just glad it’s working
I have actually had it happen twice to me since I’ve been playing. Its a little frustrating when I’ve been playing the game already for an hour and a half and then im kicked out and told I dont have access.
However if you just re start the game two or three times that has fixed it both times its happened to me so far.

Nah, seriously - I’ve done it three times since as I got the message again.
Re-reading it, I can see why you’d think that, but was just excited to finally play after 6 hours of trying.
