Got Halo 5 for Christmas in 2016, and have had Halo 5 installed ever since. Earlier, I went into the “Manage Game” section for Halo 5 because someone asked how large it was, where I found that I had the Arena and Promotional REQs in the “Ready to Install” section.
I’ve never uninstalled Halo 5, nor do I recall ever seeing/opening these in game. I saw someone make a post back in 2016 asking why he hadn’t received anything, but turns out he already opened them. Is it possible I opened them without knowing they were installed in the first place?
Not trying to lie and ask for more packs, but literally never noticed these until now.
Perhaps you can check your REQ collection and see if you’ve gotten something you didn’t have beforehand. Maybe its contents were already added to your account.
My guess is that since it’s been a long time since you got the game, you probably opened these packs sometime near the beginning and simply don’t remember because of the number of packs opened over time. Everything blends together over time.
Either it’s that, or the packs are no longer valid which I think is less likely.
That’s the thing. If I did have the packs installed and opened them, would they have uninstalled themselves afterward? Would they have not downloaded after installing Halo 5 from the disk?

Nope. Got the Xbox One S with Halo 5 and MCC bundle.

If you got the bundles, you would get a special REQ pack. For me I got a pack that contained the Fotus set. The set was even on the paper with the code. Did you get anything valuable early on in your Halo 5 experience? If so it probably came from that Promotional Pack.

Well, you should probably look in your armory for any Legendary or Ultra Rares. Even your emblems and your visors. If this doesn’t help, this as much as I can do.
