Alright hang onto me for a second, im not one of those guys claiming you get it on the internet and im not talking about the gameplay 343i showed us. Theres abit in the media breifing where one of the microsoft guys is showing of kinect voice control or something (i wasent really paying too much attention, because of all the halo 4 news i’d just feasted on) and there was this part where he goes on the info for halo, like you would in the game marketplace, and on the page it says play demo like it would for any other game with a demo downloaded, not sure whether this is a hint or not to a demo release soon or what. Anyone got any ides?
I’d like to see that on video.
Also, I really hope a public demo comes out. A demo can be the buy it or leave it decision for me. My experiences with the Reach demo effectively persuaded me against buying Reach.
I’ll be getting H4 regardless but there’s nothing more exciting than getting an early look and experiencing it.

There has been confirmation of no beta for Halo 4 for the public, and it is likely they won’t have a demo either, not until the game comes out.
They always use something like that, there will probably not be a demo.
I saw that too, but I don’t think it is actually a hint at an actual demo, just probably the demo they played on stage at E3. Then again, I don’t really know how these things (E3) work, so maybe they did use a disk and there is a demo coming. Who knows?
according to frankie, too much ressources are wasted on developing a public beta. i guess is the same goes for demos.
I doubt they would have a demo, I don’t believe that their have been any Halo demos in the past and seeing they don’t want to take the time to make a War Games beta I doubt they would take the time to make a demo.

Reach has a demo, but it came out a long time after Reach’s release.

Correct. The demo would be the build they used to demonstrate the campaign.
The Xbox 360 Dev Kits used for the briefing had “trials” of Halo 4 on them. This would have allowed for an on-screen played demo.
