It was never said it’ll start at 12 pacific.
It was stated that it’ll be sometime after 12 pacific. Please read that tweet again, slowly.

Entirely this. They never gave us a specific start time.
You have to remember there’s a huge number of moving parts to this release:
- Ensuring accounts linked outwith 343: Xbox Insider for Xbox, Steam for PC - Files propagating into the stores for download - I remember for some of the Halo Wars 2 DLC releases this caused hours of delays. - Getting all the Waypoint vNext upgrades done to the site - Coordination of all the other support - Getting the emails out
Who knows. It’ll be awhile for sure.

So if it’s slated for 2pm PST, and 5pm EST, then that would make it 4pm for Central which is my timezone.
