Partially, your download speed has to be high to get a faster download speed.
The other is the load the servers are on because they don’t have an unlimited upload speed.
So if the download is slow and your download speed is fast, then the servers have too much traffic to efficiently give you enough bandwidth to allow you to download at your opimal speed.
My download was fast, but I started downloading it within the first hour.

Yeah mine was slow as -Yoink- too, too 2 and half hours total, and my internet is fast, but i imagine that so many people were trying at once it took forever.
Took my friend 15 minutes, took me 2 - 3 hours, depends on your internet speeds

That’s not necessarily true. I have the fastest internet connection available and it still took me 3 hours because everyone was downloading it yesterday evening.
…mine took 5 and a half hours…where as ESO is what? I wanna say an 80GB (I’m most likely wrong) game and it didn’t take 5 and a half freaking hours. My buddy downloaded it and it wouldn’t work at all for him so he had to Uninstall and re-download.

You’re lucky I have telstra I’m like 8 km away from the tower it’s like 35% I’ve been downloading it for 9 hours
