Well installing the game doesn’t take long, it’s downing the other 50ish or so gigs after…that’ll take awhile. You would have been better off to install the game first not be hooked to an internet connection and then download the updates but hindsight works well as they say lol
It can take awhile if your speed isn’t fast. Also I hope you have enough data in your data plan. Might want to check that as well 
Halo 5 has its flaws, but it’s fun. If you are new and playing the multiplayer I recommend playing social or Warzone (especially firefight) mode first to get the hang of things don’t go into ranked until you understand more about the game.

Indeed, because the story was so bad though, I count this game as more of a fail of a good sequel in my opinion.
But man is the gameplay good compared to the other Halos
