the 9 Gig update is stuck on 85%… anynone got an ideas?
I am also stuck at 87%. I tried Pausing and hard resetting my Xbox. so far no luck.
Now im Queued >.<
Lools like i won’t get to play the campaign today because of this day one patch. Very dissapointed. Couldn’t skip it. If i buy a game, especially from a AAA dev, I expect to play it out of the box…

I’m at 93% how many hours later. Unreal. I remember when you could just play a game.
92% now. My download speed suddenly dropped from 15 MBits to 0.67 MBits for no reason.
Mines stuck @ 99%, left it to download for 8 hours till it kept saying “installation stopped” and won’t change. Uninstalled, then re-installed, 9 hours later… stuck @ 99. It said “installation stopped” once, I can’t believe you have to download patch before you can play SINGLEPLAYER!

Having this exact same problem (see forum post here https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/forums/e0d9938206f04a598ce84f2c8cadce02/topics/game-wont-install-off-of-a-disk/9acf66d9-3dae-417e-85f2-97f024564c98/posts?page=1). Mine isnt even making it that far, i think the farthest i made it has been 46 percent before it gives me the installation stopped message, and no matter what i do it keeps giving me installation stopped about 10-15 seconds after i resume it.
try to hard reset your xbox and turn it back on worked for me last night
same issue here I’m stuck at 84% for hours and have tried hard restart pauseing everything I am so upset I have bought every Halo game launch day since Halo two and have never not been able to play it that day this is ridiculous. and I bet this thread won’t even get the courtesy reply of please keep trying or we are aware of the issue and are working hard to resolve it. I just got sick of it and turned it off I’m going to go play my playstation

Mines stuck at 87% then 92% and my brother has the same problem but after 2-3 hours max it should work, hope this helped.

I got an Xbox One for Christmas with Halo 5 and I was wanting to play with my brother. I figured why not install it before he and I play? I’ve read all the comments and I can’t believe how even 2 months after they still haven’t fixed this problem. I was stuck at 76% and I gave up at midnight last night. I figured the Xbox needed some time until I had been playing it continuously that day. I turned it on this morning and I get 77%. I’m not sure if this is some sick and twisted 7 easter egg from 343 Industries or what, but this has got to be fixed. Someone please comment if they’ve found a solution.

Uninstall the game. Reboot your xbox. Reinstall. If this issue persists, please let me know.
Sorry for the late reply. I got it to work. The game downloaded, but it was just a ridiculous download time. The first 75% went smoothly in an hour, but it took 7 hours for the remaining 25% to download.
