Download halo 5 medals

Does anyone know where i can download high res photos of the medals? i haven’t had much luck so far. would like to use as thumb nails in my youtube videos

I think you could probably grab the assets from the Halo 5 API, can’t remeber what size the icons render out at though

If you type “download halo medals” into your search bar, there’s a website that has hi-res halo 3 medals.
I would link it but, I’m not sure how to do that on my phone.

Maybe you could make a “nostalgic” montage using the Halo 3 medals?

Did you have to download editing software?

I’d like to be able to make epic montages, but it seems that you have to download a lot of stuff.

i have sony Vegas 12 just haven’t used it much i also have the da da illegal version of after effects but use that for go pro videos hahas

After work tomorrow, I can screen-grab them from my service record and trim them out and save them as .png’s if you want?

Not sure if I’m giving myself a lot of work but I hate being bored…

Those are pretty well ripped it would seem. I’m almost certain they are the originals, as they have the same artefacts as the ones used in-game (the supercombine medal is a good example with poor colour boundaries around the needles especially).

I wonder if 343 compressed their sprites before putting them in-game or if their original format doesn’t work well with Halo 5’s engine.

Ah well, this saved me a bit of work heheh.

Try this (crude) method:

Find the medal(s) you want. - Use print-screen. - Open up a program similar to Windows Paint / Adobe Photoshop. - Paste and crop the medal(s) into the program. - Do your magic and edit them accordingly. - Save your work.Sure it’s a bit archaic, but it gets the job done.

It’s the ones used on this website. Just took a little inspect element magic is all.
