Help when we peeled off the sticker the download code was ruined. What can we do?
Get a REALLY bright light and see if you can shine it through to see the letters and numbers.
Call Tech Support. You’ll probably have to send photo proof along with some code on the card that allows them to see if the code has been used.

Jeez all these people making mistakes in excitement. Good thing I’ll have the disc but hoping I don’t end up snapping it in two while jamming it into the disc drive.

Ah it helps if you scratch off instead of peel off. Always needs to be different. Thanks for your help we were able to find most numbers and by process of elimination figure it out.
Microsoft support was pretty useless as per my experience with it. These forums are the best.
And yes we are excited!!!

I had the same issue. I called Xbox support and sent them photos of the card and proof of purchase and they’re sending it to the internal investigation team and will advise in 3 - 5 business days.

its a scratch one, not a peel. i spent like a good half hour shining a bright light through mine before realising lol. even after youve peeled off the sticker you should be able to still scrath off the silver
How do you mix up scratch and peel?!
