Douglas/Alice/Jerome in H6?

I just beat Halo Wars and have found out these two and Alice survive into H5’s time period. I’m a multiplayer guy and I haven’t beated H5 or understood H4’s story so I’m not very knowledgeable on the lore. But would this make sense in anyway? This would make me really excited just for the sake of seeing classic looking Spartans back in. But I also think it would be neat if the characters crossed over.

How dumb is my idea?

It’ll depend on whether or not the Spirit of Fire or the Infinity make contact with each other in some way.
