They are going to release it on time, it’s just not going to have much in it and it isn’t going to fix or address any of the foundational problems that are killing this game (netcode, trueskill 2, cheaters, etc).
You’re gonna get two maps, maybe a playlist, a new battlepass, maybe some updates to the challenge system(s), and some new MTX for your 6 months of waiting.

Stable is an understatement. I think there was only 2 separate occasions where I experienced lag, stuttering, whatever. Halo 5 was a lot of things, and buttery smooth was one of them.
I think we’ll see ‘season 2’ on May 3rd but I highly doubt it’ll add much to the game. Ever since Halo 4, 343i has not filled me with any hope that they know how to make a game properly.
