Doubt: WILL 343 deliver season 2 on time?

Halo Infinite Launch: Delayed
Forge: Delayed
Co-op: Delayed

What confidence do we have that s2 will release on time too?

I think we’ll see it “as promised on May 3rd.” However, the real concern is whether or not they release it as a stripped down shell with minimal fixes/content and take the entire season to make improvements/additions.

This is the focus of the Halo Infinite team, in priority order:

1 - Addressing issues negatively impacting the player experience.
2 - Completing Season 2 and delivering it as promised on May 3rd.
3 - Continuing work on Campaign Co-Op, Forge, and Season 3.

I dont think anyone is worried when season 2 is dropping as much as they are worrying what season 2 actually has. Im not speaking for anyone else, but my game has been uninstalled for over a month now. Depending on what season 2 has is if i give halo a shot again or completely forget about it for good.

The Season 2 Battle Pass and Fracture content was already premade before launch. The reason it was delayed 3 months, was because there was no content for Season 3 yet. There’s also evidence that the 3 events were delayed, because the 3 Season 2 events weren’t ready yet, since there’s also no roadmap or leaks to support there being anything. Co-op and Forge also needed to be delayed, and the Shop needed to be delayed, so 343 was more than happy to take apart bundles and drip feed us less content over a longer period of time.

Season 2 Battle Pass and Iron Eagle Fracture will likely arrive on time. Their items have been leaked since August/September 2021, along everything else we have seen so far, and still haven’t seen appear in the shop (Like the Tenrai blue flaming arms and pink sakura flag effects). The real question is, will there be any events, and will Season 3 be delayed til December?

One of their blogs a few weeks ago basically said one of their highest priorities was making sure season 2 released on time. It did not inspire confidence. Season 1 is 6 damn months long, I didn’t know not releasing Season 2 on time was an option before that. It may release on time, but if I was a gambling man I’d say they put it off for probably another month.

What proof do you have of that, lol

The reason it was delayed (and this is just my opinion) is that they knew Forge and Co-op weren’t going to be delivered on time and that the community would want changes, so they needed time to get those changes in place to be ready for co-op and forge

Again, what evidence?

So if something isn’t leaked, it doesn’t exist? Interesting.

Yes. If something was leaked, it exists. If it wasn’t leaked, it’s not already in the files. You can wear anything in the game, including the snowman helmet, with mods. You can also turn on cross-core again. Plenty of YouTube videos and streams showcasing everything in the game since before the game was even released. Same reason bots would wear stuff not released yet, and bots had cross-core. It’s already premade. We haven’t seen anything new we didn’t already know about from leaks. Obviously they would premake 2 seasons of content and try to live service the rest, but couldn’t keep up, and kept delaying and dripping content. Not sure if they’re saving stuff for next Christmas and next time Tenrai comes around, but we still have content that we have not seen in the game for some reason. These “leaks” are simply datamining stuff that exists in the files.

Delaying co-op past May kind of is delaying season 2. They’ve essentially split the seasons content so that they can meet the May 2nd deadline.

Yup, because as soon as they start developing something new for the game they pop it into the current build.
Totally

Yeah, that’s exactly how the Forge leaks and other leaks happen. Have you never figured that out? Every time there’s a new flight, beta, or test version, there are new leaks from testers and data miners. Whether or not there’s an NDA, leaks happen. The whole point of test builds are to test upcoming content. If it’s not in the test build, it isn’t coming with the update. This applies to every game ever that had leaks. It’s extremely unusual for stuff to poof into the game without it being in a test build first. Devs usually won’t throw in content without testing it first, unless it was accidentally left in a patch due to a hotfix. In that case, it gets leaked by data miners that check every new patch for hidden content.

So, using your logic, there is no Lone Wolves armor core.
Since there haven’t been any leaks of it, it can’t be coming in Season 2.

Your logic, not mind

Covid slowed and halted production, and scrapping had to be done when Joseph Staten came into the team and had to make the necessary fixes to the problems that 343 was making without proper guidance.

Launch was delayed, Forge was incomplete, and Co-Op was non-existent for these reasons at launch.

Would you rather 343 pull off a Cyberpunk 2077 and launch an absolute mess of a game experience that is entirely unplayable until all the updates are FINALLY pushed out to make the game a manageable state of being?

Take a close look at the image of the Lone Wolves announcement armor. It’s a drawing. That’s not a render. They haven’t even made the armor yet. It’s not in any test builds because that’s concept art. The 3 kunai knives on the leg are the same ones used on my Tenrai chest.

Dude, your logic needs some work, lol.
They may be slow on pumping out content but they aren’t that slow.
I would be surprised if the cosmetics for S2 weren’t already made back in Dec, at least most of them.
Just because there are no leaks for stuff doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist

It’s still a drawing. End of story. They have no in-game renders to show for a reason. There are no leaks because they don’t exist yet. You can’t leak something not even made.

Those are the finalized concept art pieces showing off the two characters that will be featured alongside Spartan Laurette Agryna in the Season 2 Cinematic. They are the literal members of the Lone Wolves team.
Spartan Sigrid Eklund
&
Spartan Hieu Dinh

They aren’t going to show us renders of those two characters UNTIL the season begins to have actual trailers and show off the Cinematic Cutscene.

Their armor core is confirmed to be the Battle Pass Armor Core, meanwhile Fractures Iron Eagle will be the Entrenched Armor Core.

Showing renders was never an issue all throughout season 1 or the events leaked. All the way up to Tac Ops renders were leaked because they existed already

We have leaked renders of Mark VII and Mark V Bravo Armor pieces that aren’t to be released until Season 2.

We have leaked renders of the Entrenched Armor Core and its assets.

Guess that’s all we’re getting for S2…oh well

We have leaks for it because it already exists. You can use all the ad hominem you want, but you fail to understand something so basic. If the renders were ready, they would have been used or leaked by now. Radio silence means they’re still working on them and have nothing to show us

because they actually exist. Lone Wolves isn’t ready yet and might be delayed again
