I know there is a lack of social game modes, but doubles needs to be ranked or it will not be populated.
On the surface this seems counter intuitive but let’s think about it for a second.
Ranked games are intrinsically tied to accountability tied to risk/reward. There is a lot more to it than that, but this is on of the baser pillars that its built on. Social modes of the same gametypes have always, and with good reason, have had larger teams. When you get on and mess around you don’t wanna ever feel responsible for a loss (youre just playing for giggles after all) and the more players in a match the less responsible an individual is for the result.
Now taking this concept, lets apply it to doubles -> more responsibility for an outcome than any other playlist. Which is great if you like winning. But if youre interested in winning then you’re also probably interested in csr.
Can we all agree and clearly voice to 343i that if it plans to implement a doubles playlist that it is crucial that it is also ranked?
