Well I think this is great that we have doubles and on some awesome community maps. I love the simple design of the maps and it just goes to show you don’t need a bunch of extra crap to make a map play well! Thanks 343 for listening on this one. Now just please leave it as a playlist!!! I want to be able to play doubles all the time, it’s a necessity as far as playlists go. I just hope they update it to a ranked playlist.
What are your guys’ thoughts on it?
I am excited for doubles, and I’m double excited that they are on community maps! I like this much better than doubles on normal maps, which are just too large for 2v2. I hope this stays, but i’m not holding my breath. I am also glad that 343 has listened to us once again.
Doubles is a good way for just you and one friend to hop on and play, rather than having two people in a party during a normal arena game and sacrificing communication. That is a reason why it should be ranked, but I like the idea of keeping it a social playlist so other people can get a feel for it.
If it stays a social playlist for a week or two, maybe put it up to a community vote? A poll would be a good method but I feel like a large amount of the Halo population doesn’t participate on Waypoint, which could skew the vote.
Well a vote would result in the community wanting to keep it… I don’t think there’s a question there. It’s whether or not 343 will

I say everyone who wants doubles needs to play the yoink out of this to keep population high and give 343 as much reason as possible to turn it into a permanent ranked playlist.
