It will shortly after release. Probably as a rotational list.
It will definitely be in the game.
A Ranked Doubles playlist across all the games at Launch would just be the greatest thing ever!

A Doubles playlist for every Halo game on the disc is unrealistic however, it would segregate the population too much and 343 is trying to avoid that at all costs.
Its not a launch playlist. People say it should show up in the rotational but we don’t know what there plans are. My hope is it becomes a permanent playlist at some point. It feels weird not having a team doubles playlist in halo. Its been a staple playlist since halo 2.
Do people even scroll when they come to the Forum. There has only been 60000 posts on this /thread

That’s a lot of post on the subject matter. However until we see a permanent Doubles playlist, I suspect the threads will continue. The public wants it.

Nobodys asking they add 5 different Doubles playlist. All we want is One Doubles playlist. Preferably one that includes all the Halo’s.
Team dubs was fantastic in previous ranked Halos. 343 most likely will include team doubles shortly after the games release

ha, i have to agree with this.
For everyone that is unaware… Team Doubles is not in at launch!
But with that said, there is a rotational playlist, that is most likely going to change gametypes every week. The first week is going to be S.W.A.T. and I almost guarantee that the second week will be Team Doubles. Bravo has already mentioned in a ‘bulletin’ I believe, that even he wants a permanent doubles playlist, (along with a game hopper FFA playlist).
The only way to make sure that it gets to be a permanent playlist, is to play the crap out of it in the rotation, once it does come up. The more you play Team Doubles in the rotational playlist, the more 343 will see that it is of high interest, therefore it will become a permanent playlist. Up until this point, Team Doubles has not been a launch playlist but has been added after a while due to the continued outcry from the community.
So please, just don’t ask anymore about whether its there or not. Just wait for it, play the crap out of it, and then wait to see it as a ranked playlist… DONE!

Sorry, I’d rather see Doubles have some visibility here. I know it already does, I know it annoys people out, but I don’t care. I’ll ask for Doubles until it’s on the game.
Team Doubles is great and all… but i personally want Multi team more
What I think will happen:
343i will make a rotational Halo: CE Doubles playlist and compare its population to that of the 4v4 Halo: CE playlist. The one with the higher population gets to stay as the main playlist for that game.
I sure hope so.

It’s coming as a rotational playlist.
It can be permanent if enough people play it consistantly when it is available.
Play the crap out of it when it comes out, and tell your friends to do the same.

I don’t see the need for a Doubles playlist for each game though. One outlying all 4 games should be fine.
I’d like a doubles playlist to span 1-3 and another strictly halo 2 doubles playlist. Forget about 4.
