Never experienced that before but lag causes some weird things to happen.
This happened to me, it was so funny. I got 28 bullets for a sniper and my 2 friends in the mantis were like “ohhh god i hope they dont get 2 mantises too…OH $#^% they got twp mantises!!!”
Happened to me once on Vortex.
Happened to me on Exile the other day, oddly enough…My team managed to get one of the tanks because the red team was so confused they just left it there.
It scared me at first, because when I first spawned it was 13 vs. 1. The 1 being me. It changed back to normal after a few seconds, but still.
To be perfectly honest, if we had a massive map like Forge World from Reach without the barriers, I would definitely be okay with having a massive vehicle battle.
Enough vehicle variety for everyone to have one…banshees, warthogs (Maybe Gauss?) etc etc.
This happened all the time in Reach. Changing hosts would force everything to re-spawn. Not surprising that it happens in Halo 4 too.

Weapons and vehicles usually reset after blackscreen in Halo. Been that way for a long time now.
It did happen to me in BTB.This game has a lot of bugs.

So it did cause everything to spawn over again? Thanks for clearing that up, and that also explains why the Rocket Launcher I picked up had 6 spare rockets.

Really? As someone who hasn’t gotten to the Specializations yet, that sounds really helpful.
Yeah I have encountered this aswell, not on top each other but next to each other… It was amazing!!

This happens regularly to me, but to my benefit, not many people seem to realise.
You know, I wonder why this isn’t a Custom Games option.
Honestly, changing existing vehicles into one vehicle (or type of vehicle) is kinda limited. Why can’t we have vehicle spawn customization like in Halo PC?

yeah, if i get a rubbish choice and im not doing to good in a game and have no chance of another i’ll just keep a hold of it to see if the host quits and i get a better choice! i had a choice of sticky detonator, speed boost or frags and i never use them so i just left it and after a host change i got a choice of rockets, lazer or overshield so they came in handy :’)

I don’t find the overshield very useful in Halo 4. I’d easily choose a weaker power weapon or pulse grenades over an overshield.
